Artist’s Bio
Born in 1977, Aaron Cobb grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and travelled widely as a young adult. Four years ago he got into the world of photography and took part time courses at Ryerson University in Toronto. Cobb first honed his professional skills under Michael Graf‹one of Canada¹s top ad shooters. He then moved to West Side Studios, where he worked with a broad range of skilled photographers. Now shooting freelance for ad agencies, his latest assignment is for the Ontario Medical Association. Aiming for a career as a professional photographer in the advertising world, Cobb has been based in Toronto for the past ten years.

Why I needed the Pro-8Air for this shot:
“At the Toronto SWAT Team headquarters I fired about twelve exposures to the officer¹s 29 rounds in four seconds. My Pro-8a was able to keep up. I just used one pack with two heads, and it kept up fine. I also used a Profoto Beauty Dish and 7-inch reflector. I needed a pack with a very quick recycle time and a really short flash duration. I am very pleased with the results and love the new 8A packs.”
