Assistant Events

Photo assistants are invited to get their hands dirty and put the new Pro-8a Air through the paces during a hands-on shooting event. You will see for yourself the unique benefits of the Pro-8a Air. For example, how this amazing generator has the ability, at 500 watt-seconds for example, to keep up with your Canon 1DS Mk III's at 5 fps while emitting a flash duration of 1/4000th of a second. You'll also be able to experiment with various studio lighting setups and see how the Pro-8 Air enables you to adjust ratios and modeling lights remotely, from the camera.

Assistants should bring their own camera to these events to capture images during the events. We will provide the subject matter, you provide the photographic skill.

Since all work and no play is not a very well balanced strategy, you'll also have the opportunity to break bread and socialize with other assistants and photographers. It will be fun as well as a good opportunity for networking.

Don't forget that photo assistants, at any time, can submit photos to the competition (begins April, 2009 - come back soon!) for the opportunity to be internationally published both in print and on the web, to be the featured assistant of the month on ProfotoAssistant.com and in the Profoto blog, and the opportunity to win $10,000, $5000 or $2500 in Profoto equipment.
