Rules

In order to participate in the Profoto Assistant Photo Contest you must complete the registration form certifying you are a full-time assistant. Don’t worry; this only needs to be done once! Please Note: To vote registration is not required.

After you are a registered Profoto Assistant you may enter up to twenty images a month.

To qualify your image for the contest

• Each submission must be accompanied by a single image of a “behind the scenes” shot of the Profoto equipment on set, showing how it was used to create the image with the subject or background visible.

• Photos must be JPEG only: Quality 10, 1200 pixels on the long edge.

• If your photo is chosen as a winner, you must be able to supply a high-res image approximately 9x12-inches (22.8 x30.5 cm) @ 300 dpi upon request.

• All photos with visible models must have a signed model release available.

• By submitting images you are acknowledging you have the full rights to that image and assume all legal responsibilities. In addition, you agree to indemnify and hold Profoto and MAC Group harmless in any and all legal or civil actions occurring as a result of your image submission.

• Photographs characterized as inappropriate by Profoto are not allowed. All information supplied during registration and image submission is subject to verification.

The judging of photographs

• Each month photographs will be rated by their peers of ProfotoAssistant.com.

• Visitors and assistants may vote for as many images as they wish, but are allowed only one vote per image per month.

• Voting will be valid through the 1st of the month to the last day of the month ending at midnight.

• The image with most votes in a single month wins.

• Each monthly winner will be announced on the 15th of the following month.

Winners

• Monthly winners will be offered an interview to be featured on ProfotoAssistant.com, Profoto.com/us, and the Profoto Blog.
